I love the E bodies but I think the A bodies make better race cars

I have both and after dealing with building a 70 Cuda and I think the A body by far. over the years there are more sucessful A's than E's running NHRA pro stock stock or stock /superstock classes.

E-Body all the way. Everyone has an A-Body race car. Yes, they may be more readliy available, Cheaper to build & lighter in weight but its almost like having a Mustang. Sorry, I like to be different. I know when I get my E-Body done it will almost always be the only one out there at the track.

Good answer! Not only does the A body have the weight advantage but doesn't it also benefit traction-wise from more rear-overhang???

Though I might disagree about the traction bit
